The school auditorium was filled with music, smiles, and proud applause on Friday as students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 took the stage for the music recital. The event showcased the musical talents of young performers who sang, played a variety of instruments including the melodica, ukulele, glockenspiel, and flute.
Each performance reflected weeks of preparation and practice, as students confidently shared their progress with an enthusiastic audience of parents, teachers, and fellow classmates. From the joyful strumming of ukuleles to the soft melodies of flutes and the rhythmic sounds of the glockenspiel, the recital offered a rich and heartwarming musical experience.
“It’s not just about the music — it’s about giving students a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and experience the joy of performing.”
Parents beamed with pride as they watched their children perform on stage, capturing memories with photos and loud cheers. Teachers, too, were visibly moved by the students’ growth and teamwork.
The recital ended with a group performance that brought all the students together in a harmonious finale, symbolizing the spirit of unity and creativity fostered throughout the music program.
The event was a memorable celebration of young talent, dedication, and the power of music to bring a community together.
