The spirit of Thai tradition came alive at UAIMS during the enchanting Loy Krathong ceremony, as students, teachers, and parents gathered to honor one of Thailand’s most beloved cultural festivals.
Held in the school's auditorium, in a beautifully decorated area, the event was filled with the gentle glow of candlelight, the scent of fresh flowers, and the sound of traditional Thai music. Dressed in vibrant Thai costumes, students took part in the celebration with grace and pride, reflecting on the meaning behind this special day.
A highlight of the evening was the traditional Thai dance performances by students, showcasing elegance, dedication, and a deep respect for Thai heritage. The audience was captivated by the graceful movements and the colorful costumes that brought the stage to life.
“This ceremony helps students not only enjoy Thai traditions, but also feel a sense of unity and appreciation for cultural beauty,” said one of the event coordinators.
As the evening came to a close, smiles lit up every face, reflecting the warmth, harmony, and shared memories that made this Loy Krathong at school truly special.
